Data Scientist. Develop and apply quantitative and qualitative analytic methods to identify, collect, process, and analyze large data sets for specified purposes. Identify trends, solve analytical problems, optimize performance, and develop results through appropriate data analysis techniques such as data mining and retrieval. Use applied statistics, build algorithms, and collaborate with domain experts to analyze large volumes of data to build and enhance products, processes, and systems. Conduct data mining and retrieval and apply statistical and mathematical analysis to identify trends, solve analytic problems, optimize performance, and gather intelligence. Translate analysis results into actionable insights. Work with Docker Machine, Apache Spark, TensorFlow, Tableau, R, Magento, MySQL, MongoDB, PHP, complex SQL queries, HTML, CSS, JS, React, Visual Studio Code, SSH. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Integrated Science & Technology, or a related field and 1 year experience (or 1 year of experience as Developer, or related occupation). Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years progressive post baccalaureate experience in lieu of Master's. Must have 1 year experience working with PHP, MySQL and writing SQL queries.
