Written on behalf of Integrity
Hi, I’m Sugar – the four-legged Director of Snacks, Snuggles, and Strolls here at Integrity. 🐾 You might catch me cruising the conference rooms, checking on our amazing team members, or just living my best life in our pet-friendly office space. I may look like I’m here just for the free treats (okay, maybe a little), but there’s a bigger reason why dog-friendly workplaces like ours make every work day wag-worthy.

1. We Lower Stress (And Blood Pressure). It’s Science!
Let’s face it—deadlines can be ruff. But one happy tail wag or a cheerful bark from an office pet like me can melt stress away. According to studies like the LiveCareer study (I can’t read, but I’ve heard the humans talking!), dog-friendly offices help reduce stress and even lower blood pressure. I’m basically a four-pawed wellness plan—and part of the people-experience Integrity’s so proud of.
2. Built-In Breaks = Better Work-Life Balance
Whether it’s a quick stroll outside or a game of fetch down the hall, having canine friends like me around encourages physical activity, fresh air, and moments of joy during the day. It’s all part of a holistic approach to better outcomes—for both two-legged and four-legged team members.
3. Pet-Friendly = People-First
From new pet snuggles to seasoned pros like me, our pet-friendly policies are about more than just being cute. They reflect Integrity’s core values and company mission—putting people (and their pets) first. Whether you’re in San Francisco, New York City, or right here in St. Louis, dog-friendly features are a crucial factor for pet parents looking for the best work experiences.
4. Culture + Connection (and Cuddles)
Nothing brings folks together like furry friends. We’re basically conversation starters with tails! Sharing stories, swapping pet care tips, and bonding over puppy zoomies creates an environment full of emotional support and laughter. That’s why dog-friendly companies like Integrity feel more like a family than just a workplace.
5. Morale Boost? Check. Free Treats? Double Check.
You’ll notice the smiles get a little brighter when I’m trotting by with my buddy Nova. Research shows that pet-friendly workplaces improve morale, which improves productivity. Coincidence? I think not. (Also, there might be freshly-made dog food in it for me, so I’m motivated.)

6. Pet Policies That Work for Everyone
At Integrity, we’ve got a thoughtful pet policy that keeps things safe, fun, and happy for all. It’s the general rule around here that well-behaved pups (and their humans) help create a supportive, playful, and pet-friendly environment where everyone can thrive. Plus, rumor has it I’m one of the best parts of our pet-friendly work environment. Just sayin’.
7. Not Just for the Dogs
Some pet parents worry about allergies or medical needs—that’s where a solid pet-friendly policy and clear communication come in. We always consider the physical health and comfort of our whole team. It’s part of taking care of our talented teams like the true passionate pet people we are.
So if you ever stop by our dog-friendly company, don’t be surprised if you’re greeted by wagging tails and smiling faces. I’ll be here in our pet-friendly office, making sure the good vibes flow, the snacks keep coming, and the humans feel the love.
With love and a paw-shake,
Sugar 🐾
Chief Tail-Wagging Officer at Integrity
