Creating a higher-performing website for a leading charter plane company
Aero Charter, based in the Spirit of St. Louis Airport, is the region’s leading private plane company and FBO. With a top-of-the-line fleet of jets and stellar customer service, Aero Charter has been flying both business and leisure travelers alike to destinations for more than 50 years. They also provide aircraft management, avionics and maintenance services.
Pain Points
While Aero Charter’s site functioned from a user’s perspective, it had accumulated a lot of technical debt, and its previous builder made it difficult, timely and costly to maintain or support. The site also experienced slow loading speed and featured practices that were not ADA compliant. In addition, there were opportunities for condensing content and making it more SEO-friendly.
Services provided
Being conscious of our time investment, Integrity proposed rebuilding the existing Aero Charter website using a higher-performing builder: Elementor. This would enable our developers to support the site more readily, as well as provide a more content-manageable platform for adjusting copy or adding new pages. Site speed and compliance were also boosted by the move to Elementor.
We created new types of posts to be used for the news and blog section which would help from an SEO standpoint as it allowed the content to live on the site as opposed to in static PDFs. We also turned an antiquated PDF application for pilots into a user-friendly online form that stores applications on the site and immediately sends them to relevant stakeholders.
