ConstructReach is a national web platform to educate diverse students about construction careers, support successful internship experiences and connect general contractors with students to grow a healthy and sustainable workforce.

ConstructReach’s mission is to provide solutions to pressing issues such as:

Resolving workforce shortages that slow construction projects and increase their costs
Overcoming perceptions by young, diverse people who don’t see construction as a viable career option
Supplementing general contractors’ efforts who are not prepared for young and diverse talent to succeed and stay

Pain points

The next phase of ConstructReach’s evolution required a platform and processes that would:

Assess candidates and general contractors readiness for success in their respective roles.
Provide a resource center and structured programs that will guide the unique stakeholders on how to engage throughout the recruitment process.
Successfully match talent who are willing to enter the workforce with general contractors who are willing to hire them.

Integrity’s St. Louis business consulting and web design teams completed a discovery effort and feasibility audit to better understand the current-state environment of the web platform and align with what the future state needs of the construction industry may include.

In parallel, it created user personas and mapped out user journeys that illustrated the full lifecycle from interested user to participating member of the ConstructReach community. The final output of this project became important elements for future business planning.
